I’ve got some breaks from school coming up and decided that I should put them to good use, so I’m taking the time to explore the world more and to get some relaxation.
On the 15th of December I fly from Dusseldorf(Germany) [it’s just accost the boarder and cheaper than flying from the Netherlands] to Krakow(Poland). I’ll be staying at a hostel in Krakow and exploring Poland. Then on the 24th I fly from Krakow to London where I stay until the 29th when I fly back to Dusseldorf. From Dusseldorf I’ll take a train or bus back to the Netherlands so I have some time to study before finals.
After finals it’s time for a reward, a break from the cold and rain of the Netherlands, I’ll be enjoying the Sun and the Sand in Agadir Morocco, from the 13th to the 23rd. Amazingly my flight from Dusseldorf there and back only cost 60 Euros in total. Unfortunately there are no hostels in Agadir however I was able to book a nice hotel on the beach for about the same price as a Hostel!
It’s official winter is here, most every day is cloudy and rainy, but some days are still sunny and nice. Some friends and I decided to take advantage of one such day and go for a walk in a local park.
My Dutch Language and culture course took a trip to a local cheese shop. Almost as educational and delicious
I’ve been so busying meeting other students, and with school that its been awhile since I got a chance to post. So here’s an update with lots of photos…
Here are some more photo’s of Arnhem. The tiny washers… and an Australian named Peter who crashed on my floor till he could get let into his room.
Time now for a few more photos:
Lunch and laundry, I really have no idea what I’m eating it’s essentially a puffy fried sausage…
Doing laundry in the machines here is expensive, and the machines are tiny, so I’ve been hand-washing my cloths…
Today I found my self a bycicle, it’s probably older than me, but it was made in Holland and it was only 15 euros. I did also manage to make it home all the way from the city center, quite a ride when you only have 1 gear… Hopefully with some work and a few parts I’ll have my self a nice bike to ride around town.
Also I feel its time to share a random photo of something I saw and thought was cute, so I present:
